Our Best Day Ever. Vo. III.
Updated: May 14, 2020
Our wedding day is one of the only times in our life that we will have all of our people from every walk of life in one room at one time. It was the most amazing feeling and we had the best party ever!!
Reception
The story behind our reception venue… my mom has worked in the wedding industry since before I can remember. Because of that, I have always dreamed and planned my wedding day and everything that I wanted it to be. Many years ago I loved the wedding venue “Roof with a View” but was sad to find out it closed. On our first venue tour at Byrons on South End with Best Impressions Catering, I mentioned how much I loved “Roof with a View.” They informed me Best Impressions bought that venue, renovated it and reopened with the name Terrace at Cedar Hill just a few months before. We immediately drove over to tour the venue and I fell in love! We found our place and booked it that day!!!

The reception decorations were a complete surprise for me! On Saturday after my bridal luncheon, my bridesmaids and I went to get our nails done. While we were doing that, my mom with the help of her most awesome team worked their magic in the reception venue. I got to see a few sneak peak pictures after it was complete but I didn’t get to see the final thing put together unit we entered into the venue as husband and wife!

The entrance to our reception has to be one of my most favorite moments of the entire day. I always knew I wanted my wedding party to enter into the reception to “300 Violin Orchestra,” that’s my greatest hype song! Then Randy and I entered to “Thursday Night Football TNF 32,” it had to be one of the best moments of my whole life, thus far. This was my greatest game day!
First dance song – “Forever Like That” Ben Rector

Party time!!! Peep the dress change and fun shoes!

We wanted our own little twist to the garter toss and of course we had to add something football. It worked out exactly how we had imagined and was the greatest thing ever!
Father Daughter First Dance Song – “You’ll be in my heart” Phil Collins
Mother Son First Dance Song – “Forever Now” Michael Bublé
So Randy and I don’t dance… but this day was different. This was the greatest dance party ever!

Last Dance – “Sweet Caroline”

Thank you for reading my recap of our most special day! It was everything I had dreamed of and more and went by faster than I ever could have imaged. I’m so thankful for photos and videos that help us re-live this day over and over again.
