Turks & Caicos Travel Guide
Turks and Caicos is a beautiful piece of paradise. We have discovered that it is the perfect getaway during the cold winters. There is nothing like a warmth and sunshine refresh in the middle of a cold December. I am sure it is an amazing place to visit year round, I have only experienced it during our winters.

I have traveled to Turks and Caicos twice. Once embarking from Charlotte, NC and the other from Ulm, Germany. All scheduled international flights into the Turks and Caicos land at the Providenciales International Airport (PLS). It's worth it traveling from anywhere in the world to get to Turks and Caicos.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a small tropical "archipelago" nation found south of the Bahamas. Located 575 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, and 75 miles north of the Dominican Republic. With more than 40 small islands and cays, the eight inhabited islands are separated into two island groups. Grand Turk, Salt Cay, Caicos Islands South Caicos, Middle Caicos, North Caicos, Providenciales, Pine Cay and Parrot Cay.
More info on all of the different islands https://turksandcaicostourism.com/our-islands-turks-and-caicos-islands-cays/
Both times visiting the island we have stayed on Providenciales. The island that the cruise ships dock for port is Grand Turk.
Places to Stay:
Myself and my in-laws having only stayed at "The Palms Turks and Caicos" on Providenciales so I do not have any other suggestions by experience. But, I have eat dinner at a few of the other resorts and have seen how nice their amenities are. My suggestions are only through research and reviews. Also I am only giving suggestions for resorts but there are many options for villas and houses to be rented all over the islands.

Things to do:

I cant suggest this excursion more, and if you need any more convincing Patrick Mahomes (QB for the KC Chiefs) did this same excursion with the same company. It was the coolest experience swimming with the ponies.
Along the beach, right outside of your resort there will be many different excursion options.
Parasailing
Hobo-cat (At the Palms)
Kayaking/Paddle Boarding
Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
Sunset cruises
